Packing up and checking out of the AINO Aparthotel. I really enjoyed the stay here and was worth the €200 per night rate. Ironically, I wasn’t planning to spend the night in Munich because of the outrageous hotel prices due to Oktoberfest, but it happened anyway.
Today is overcast and cooler. The cooler temperatures feel good and I don’t need a jacket. Since my sunburn, my body base temperature has been +3°. I’ve been having very fortunate weather during my stays and they seem to change when I leave.
Heading to the bus terminal. It doesn’t seem as hellish as when I first arrived. It’s interesting how things can feel so foreign when you first arrive and you question why you’re here, especially if you are not feeling well.

Left the bus terminal at 1 pm on the FlixBus for Prague.

The FlixBus arrives in Prague at the main bus terminal. Beautiful interior! I am looking to cross the busy street with a median, but there is no pedestrian crossing. Then I get the idea that there must be some underground crossing. I go back to the bus terminal, go downstairs and wow – there’s whole other world down there! All types of shops and other transportation connections!

My hotel the Grandium Hotel Prague is a short walk away. The temperature seems to be dropping and what I said earlier about not needing a jacket? I may be changing my mind.
I get checked into the hotel, drop off my bag and then take off for a look around the city. So far I really like it. It’s a little gritty like Munich, but the vibe feels good here. Unfortunately because of my extended stay in Munich, I’m not going to be able to see much of Prague as I originally planned. I could have gone back to Geneva from Munich, but there were no direct flights and I still had my $36 flight out of Prague.

It’s cold out and now I am thinking about a jacket. I turn the corner and I can’t believe my eyes!!!

If you followed me on last year’s travels, Primark was the on going joke about finding a jacket with Manuel and Lisa. I waste no time getting another Primark jacket! I am happy!
I walked by the Dream Hostel – the hostel where I had reservations, but cancelled because I thought a hotel would be more comfortable because of my sunburn.

Found a vegan restaurant that I wanted to check out called the Palo Verde Bistro.

I have dinner and then head back to the hotel and call it an early evening. Fly back to Geneva tomorrow afternoon.
